The Swingshot is a very popular gadget used to latch onto and swing from various types of versa-targets. It was received by completing Captain Qwark's fitness course on planet Kerwan and paying Helga one-thousand bolts. The wire allowed its user to swing from versa-targets, hence its name.


Heli-Pack

The Heli-Pack is an upgrade that Ratchet and Clank acquired on planet Kerwan by paying 1,000 bolts to Big Al at his Roboshack. The Heli-Pack gives Clank helicopter-like propellers and helps Ratchet glide, high jump, and stretch jump. In some levels, some high areas could only be accessed using the Heli-Pack's high jump, showing that the Heli-Pack develops more lift than the Thruster-Pack. The Heli-Pack also has a slower rate of descent than the Thruster-Pack while gliding.

The Trespasser is a Gadgetron infiltration device used to open Invinco-locks. When hacking invinco-locks the interface consists of a circle with areas for beams to hit, the beams and their starting generators were arranged on three circles, which could be turned around. Every beam needs to reach an area without being blocked by anything other than another beam, they can’t be blocked by the 'generators' however.


Hydrodisplacer

The Hydrodisplacer is a Gadgetron gadget that can be used to drain and fill pools with water, therefore "displacing" it. The volume of water that can be contained inside a Hydrodisplacer is far greater than the gadget's external volume may have indicated (in this case, 50,000 liters). It uses Quantum compression technology to squeeze the water inside the tank.

The Grind Boots were invented for Chairman Drek by the gadget engineer Fred. They are a gadget used to grind and move along grindrails, poles, train lines, and telephone poles.

The Sonic Summoner is a special helmet that can be used to attract sandmice. When wearing the gadget near a sandmouse's house, the sandmouse comes out for a moderate duration of time, shooting any enemy within its range.

The Magneboots were invented by the Blarg and allows wearers to walk up specific magnetic surfaces. These are usually ventilation shafts, but they can also be the undersides of spacecraft and certain platforms that transport you to other areas.

The Pilot's Helmet is a special helmet engineered at the Blarg Depot on planet Gaspar, designed to pilot special Blarg fighters.


Thruster-Pack

The Thruster-Pack is a special rocket upgrade to Clank's Heli-Pack. It was fitted at Bob's Roboshack on planet Pokitaru for 2,000 bolts. In addition to all of the Heli-Pack's basic moves, the Thruster-Pack has a built-in power-slam to open special locks in the ground. Furthermore, it also allows Ratchet to hover above ground, giving the Lombax the capability of strafing and also a mid-air long-jump that could be used after high-jumping. Aside from these features, it is able to perform high jumps and longs jumps faster, though it has a faster rate of descent while gliding.


O2 Mask

The O2 Mask is a helmet gadget that allows breathing in any environment: underwater, in toxic atmospheres, and in space. This is accomplished by providing the wearer with a supply of oxygen by synthesizing and recycling it.

The Hydro-Pack is a black market upgrade to Clank that you could acquire on Planet Hoven. It could be bought from Edwina's Robo Shack for 2,000 bolts. The Hydro-Pack is a useful upgrade that allows Clank to use jets to propel him and Ratchet underwater much more effectively than if Ratchet were to swim on his own. This feature also allows Ratchet to swim against currents to get to secret areas and navigate water storages that have a timed electric current running through the water.

The holo-guise is a popular gadget that enables the user to disguise themselves with a hologram and appear to be any other organism or robot of their choosing. There have been different kinds of holo-guise gadgets made for specific purposes and functions, including one developed by Gadgetron producing a sentry-bot disguise, the Gadgetron Tyhrraguise, the GrummelNet Holo Pirate Disguise and the Agency Holo-Monocle.
