Even though these weren't upgradeable, except for one device, they were quite helpful in combat battles.

What is your most and least favorite combat device to use in Tools of Destruction?

Most Favorite:
There were some devices that were pretty good and helpful to use, but I would have to say that the Groovitron is my most favorite combat device. Seeing baddies and civilians dance is funny.

Least Favorite:
The Visi-Copter. I thought this device was a pretty big gimmick to use, plus I couldn't control this lousy thing that properly.

I remember using the Groovitron for the first time, and I can't get enough of it XD instant fav for me! I also like Mr Zurkon too.

But yeah, I couldn't control the visicopter properly neither :S and there just weren't many parts of the game were I needed to use it neither.

I think Mr.Zurkon is awesome as well. His funny quotes and taunting makes him a fun and lively device to use in combat.

But, if I had to choose over him and the Groovitron, I would definitely choose the Groovitron as my top favorite.

The groovitron is one of my faves I don't mind the visi - copter I can control that one fine when I played it I forgot the rest since it's been ages since I last played ToD

I havent really needed to use the visicopter much but I see my little bro use it often, and he seems good with it =P it's also funny when the visicopters camera goes inside Ratchet's head (if you go infront of him) the camera goes inside his head and... yeah

One of the scariest things I've ever seen in a Ratchet game o_O but it's funny

I'm actually starting to get used to the controls of the Visi-copter now, but it's still quite a challenge to control the device. But hey, at least I can control the cursed thing unlike before. :P

If you try and get the visicopter in front of Ratchet at the right angle and place... you'll see something freaky, as the camera for the visicopter goes inside Ratchet's head... XD (too bad I couldnt take a screenshot, lol)

the only time I ever used the visicopter was to get the skill point

When I first played TOD, I only used that device to obtain the skill point too. But, when I re-played the game again, I used the Visi-Copter quite a while to shoot some enemies with, especially exiting Zordoom Prison with Tawlyn.

To Tara:
Perhaps I got to try that out one day. A mini copter going inside Ratchet's head seems to sound pretty surreal and weird... it looks like my kind of thing to do.

But anywho, has anyone have anything to say about the other devices that we haven't mentioned yet besides the Visi-Copter, Groovitron and Mr.Zurkon?

I think other devices like the Leech Bombs, Death Springs, or even the Transmorpher needs some love too.

Oh yes the Transmorpher is cool too, I like making the little lovable penguins dance XD

And the Leech bombs were useful for when times were tough, but I haven't needed to use the Death springs too often, but they are very useful for crowded parts of the game lol.

The mega leech bomb has always been a life saver.
the regular leech bomb never did me much justice though...
and MR ZURKON was good in the first playthrough, but was seriously not so good in challenge mode.
The visicopter was okay, but not as good as the spiderbot or visibomb.
The Death Springs didn't seem to actually do anything except make the level look daft. (" />
The confuzzler gas might have been enjoyable if it didn't damage the enemies and the enemies teamed up to attack enemies that weren't infected, but it didn't do either of those (which is also what I disliked about the Infector from UYA).
The groovitron was not bad, only it ran out of ammo quickly.
The GOLDEN groovitron was cool because it never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ran out of ammo.

Say, I still gotta unlock the Golden Groovitron myself...! I bet it's lots of fun to have. Too bad CiT didn't have it, but it's all good, I like upgrading the Groovitron as well.

My favorite were

- Golden Groovitron
- Mr. Zurkon
- Leech Bomb
- Mega-Leech Bomb

They help save my butt a couple of times, especally the boss fight in challange mood.

The Golden Groovitrom rocks! But i also like the visicopter and the leechbombs (they come in handy!)
