Thread: What if you played QfB at young age?

I played this game again yesterday, the ghost and skeletons don't really freak me out now, but I think that this would have been the scariest game I've ever played if I were 3 years old. Back then I was so scared of the pixelated reptilion tail in Super Mario Land 2.

The green fog, the ghosts, the darkness the big monsters in the caves. Go back to when you were 3 and imagine how scared you would have been first playing the game!

Why would a 3 year old be playing a game like this? It's PG man' which means its not for the youngins, but appropriate for kids, maybe like 7 or so.

Maybe that's different where you come from. But people ignore the ratings on most things anyway.

EDIT: If I went to go back to when I was 3 to play this game, i wouldn't get far. I don't think I started playing games until I was like 5, and that would have been Putt Putt Saves the Zoo and Spy Fox. When I was about 10 I got off games like the Sims to play real games like Rayman and Ratchet & Clank, and I don't think I would have been that scared at the age of 10.

I was just wondering, not too seriously. But when I was three I played anything I got my hands on. I even played FPS Metroid Prime with my cousin at young age.

My only question is, would you have thought QfB was the scariest game ever if you played it as a 3 years old emoji

I probably thought Mr Bean was the scariest thing ever at that age, seriously I'm easy to scare. Even today… well kinda, I sure as hell don't like them freaky zombie horror films, they freak me out.

EDIT: So yea, QfB would have probably scared me quite a bit.

Hmm… If I were 3 years old, I'd be propably scared. But if I'm a real S.R.J.S. Fangirl, there's no way that any S.R.J.S. thin would totally freak me out, nowemoji!

Mmm yea, I doubt any 3 years old would play QfB and if they did I don't think they would get even pass the first mob pack.

Sorry for off topic now, but this reminded me about one E rated game, the PS1 Spiderman. And anyone who has played thru that knows the last boss is far from suited to everyone. emoji

Well, that game was made before 7+ category appeared in Europe, and 10+ in America, and they didn't want to rank it 12+. But about Quest for Booty… well, I had it packed with my PS3, but after seeing some girl named "Ratchet", fuzzy creature called "Clank" and all those freaking "skullheads", I decided to sell this game to some stupid kid that hve no better work to do, than playing "Cartoon Networkish" (I hate CN) games. Then, year later, I was so bored, that I opened it. Here's the rest of story: Size Matters, Tools of Destruction, A Crack in Time, All 4 One, Secret Agent Clank, Ratchet & Clank, Trilogy, Q-Force (Need to wait for "Santa" to take it out of his "bag", wich I can't find emoji). I was waiting a year too long for the best game series I ever played. Just because of some stupid pirates! I'll get you Darkwater!

So you kinda hated the series before you gave it a fair go eh? Yep sounds about right, I bet that's the same story for a lot of people.

Nah, I just hated the PlayStation and wanted R&C to go to Nintendo. Silly meemoji

SEGA didn't like the PS too. They even made ANTI-XXXX XX2 (SONY PS2) soldiers in Sonic Adventure 2 emoji

But now of course everyone loves the PlayStation! How could you not? There are so many awesome unique games available.

How can we hate PlayStation, the only device that allows us to play, Ratchet, Sly, Jak and LittleBigPlanet (ok, I forgot about emulators :^^emoji?

Well, I didn't start playing video games until I was about 5, but I guess QfB might have creeped me out a bit. I do remember there was one or two levels on the original Lego Racers that terrified me and a few Lemmings levels that I wasn't happy with.
But I probably would have gone back at some stage, I usually do.

Emulators are evil. They don't count… wait there aren't PS3 emulators. PS2 maybe, but no PS3 ones.

If I played QFB at age 3, I'm pretty sure I'd be freaked out of my pants. :0
