Thread: ArrowBot

After a lot of thought I have decided that I will fill all of you in on a little project me and my friends have been working on.

The game is called ArrowBot, and it will be launching on Google Play (Android Store) at some point at the end of this year.

The story takes place in a 2D world very unlike ours. Their world has no fire, no ice, no metal, no power and no nature. That is what it's inhabitants have come to know and love, so you could imagine that when these elements start popping up all over the place the inhabitants would get a little worried. That is where ArrowBot and Mantis-Arrow come in!

Mantis claiming to be ArrowBot's long lost brother warns ArrowBot of the invasion of the bosses who are responsible for the scary and dangerous factories, jungles, swamps and cities now present in their world. Together the two must work together to destroy the bosses and find out who did this, and how to stop them… of course it can never be that easy.

The full game will feature:

• hilarious voice acting
• 10 overpowered weapons to unlock
• 10 locations with a boss fight at the end of each one
• thousands of points to collect to spend on skins
• up to 100 skill points to unlock and spend on extras

However it may take a little while to finish making the game, so in the mean time those of you who have Android devices can help out by trying the demo I have published and post feedback: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.paradoxproductions.ArrowBot

Below are the changes that will be added in the next update of the demo:

• Varying level of speeds
• Different analog stick controls
• A timer
• A skin to unlock
• Point clearing bug fix
• High score and Best time recordings
• A ridiculously cruel Dev time to beat

I died But it's really fun, and cool!!

It was absolute chaos before I put the checkpoints in and when the lasers did one-hit kills.

Good to know it runs on your device! We were having issues with that in the first version

The logo we have at the moment is just a place holder. One night I needed to publish a demo to show our investors and teachers we weren't messing about, and it was about 2:00 in the morning before I got to actually uploading the thing. You could imagine I was in a hurry to get all the different logos done, so i went for the most basic thing I could.

The final version of the demo should have something a little more appealing
