What's the problem with Ratchet in Nexus?
Some people don't like the perfect personality Ratchet has been building up recently. It started for me with A4O, where Ratchet was so clearly good and perfect that I couldn't stand listening to him anymore!
But on the other hand, some people like what Ratchet has turned into, and that is fine, I'm not about to start a war over a conflicting opinion.
The Ratchet who made up with the guy who had a hand (albeit a reluctant one) in killing his friends is a nice contrast from the Ratchet who wanted to kill Qwark for tricking him.
At least Ratchet hasn't turned into the whining 'Oh, it's all my fault. They're blood is all on my hands'. And then refuse to let it go when his friends ask kinda character. I had those.
I'm fine with mature Ratchet… As long as he doens't remind me about his maturity in evert cutscene with his long monologues about what he's learned! It was just so… Annoying.
They could take it down a notch, but I didn't really mind.
Actually, his relationship with Clank, Talwyn or Qwark TJ handeled very well, it's just the Progs… Vendra had so much potential! Having a 'Ratchet gone rouge' villain was a good idea, but why couldn't she keep the mask on, act like she did at the begging of the game a little longer. She'd be that mysterious, menacing villain who's motivations get revealed later. Instead, they do that at the beggining. But I guess it's a matter of game's lenght.
Let's just build up our trust on the new scriptwriter…
TJ seem to have spoiled some things that make some of you hate him, but the new ones could be better!

The movie is written by TJ, but as to the new game's writer - nope, no info, though IG hinted on their forum the game could not have a specific writer at all.

Now, the conclusion for the upcoming game: Script written by Mr. TJ Fixman, soundtracks are composed by Mr. Michael Bross, storyline doesn't follow the movie's line-by-line, and relesase date is still unknown
