Thread: Are You a Klepto?

I used the time-speed up heaps. I quite liked it. I mean it made everything just that little bit harder, and it really upped the pacing!

That is a cheat I would like to see return.

For me, using the time speed up cheat just caused the game to glitch a whole lot - for example, during the final boss, I died so quickly that the game thought I was still in the arena in the centre of the Clock when in fact I'd respawned outside - meaning that I couldn't return to the boss fight because the area was locked off to prevent me from escaping the arena that I wasn't even in! emoji
The only way I could fix it was to enter the code to reset challenge mode and start all the way back from Quantos…

I played with it on a lot, and only noticed that it felt a bit off because the audio wasn't affected by the cheat.

Maybe you were just having a bad time. Like how I always manage to break Aquatos' Sewers while no one else does, and I have not experienced a single crash (outside Aquatos) on R&C2 PS Vita, while the rest of the world is making such a big fuss over it.

That happened to me too. I fixed it somehow, and I didn't need to replay the whole thing.

I used the time cheat for the first ten round if the final challenge in Battleplex when I was going for the Flawless skill point.

Seriously, am i the only one who has a hard time doing the skill points in ACiT? Probably because i never play it, but you guys are talking about cheats i haven't even heard of emoji

Once you know what to do you can get around 80% of the Skill Points while simply doing a normal playthrough.
I used to have the hardest time with Orvus' Son (you have to timebomb 250 projectiles) but now I just throw a time bomb after rescuing Clank and fire the RYNO.

Even though slow-mo (ITN) and speed-up (ACIT) are cool, it hurts my eyes and brain trying to look at it in a different speed. (Do slow mo while firing a temporal replusor at a Thug talking about his personal life, THEN IT'S WORTH IT emoji

Yes, I am a klepto. I feel the need to collect, complete, unlock, and break stuff. I blame Crash Bandicoot for that.

In video-games, do you go out of your way to collect pointless stuff just to have the satisfaction of collecting it even if they don't do anything?

To be honest, I do that quite a bit. I'm the kind of guy who will break/fix anything in the R&C and Sly games just because they give you money or try to get every single Wumpa fruit in the Crash Bandicoot games… maybe I need help…

I too suffer from this sphere case of collectism emoji I just can't resist not breaking the next set of crates or fixing a single broken thing in the great clock.

Currently I am playing A Crack in Time without getting ANY BOLTS (aside from the inevitable ones) ANY armors ANY gold bolts and doing ANY side missions.

It's so easy to get bolts in that game that it's not making much of a difference! But at the end of the Battleplex, I have 0 bolts, and bought every weapon (so far) except for the Plasma Sniper and the Cyromine Glove.

How is that even possible? The crates, they're so beautiful! Look at them!

How about accidentally destroying a crate?

There's a name for that? And it's Klepto?!

Lol I most certainly would not be able to resist breaking crates :P

It is an actual syndrome, just not in games.
