If they did that again, they'd have had horrible judgement. emoji

But,

I don’t think anyone’s going to be disappointed

They announced a Captain Phasma novel.

Wouldn't it be funny if that was the only scene she was in? emoji

If that happens, then one thing to do: *laughs in resistance*

And that scene where Poe almost got caught in the explosion inside the hangar, poor Poe. Losing his X-wing for the second time.

With a novel (novel, not young adult novella) ánd comic coming up, I think Phasma will assume the role she deserves. If not with screentime, then certainly quality time.

Don't think I've ever shared my Phasma collection?

Think they're gonna do a dang good job on it!
(And I wonder what's next too)

Aaah, I can only handle so much hype!

There's only 15 episodes of Rebels this season… emoji
A 1 hour premiere of the first episode "Heroes of Mandalore," was played at the celebration.

The campaign better be a good one. The trailer got me hyped up.

I hope they keep the single and multiplayer completely seperate. Time will tell.

I also love how people complain about there being a female protagonist "again". Again since who?!

Maybe they were among the people who didn't like the fact that Episode VII and Rogue One's protagonists are female. And some also said that Disney is being run by feminists and social justice warriors just because they added a black stormtrooper and female main protagonists. I mean come on, why would they even bother? Star Wars is still a franchise that would highly relate to men, and maybe they were just trying to get more women as fans. And honestly, I don't mind if they try to add more diverse characters. As long as Star Wars is still a great franchise.

AHAHAHAHA!! Sorry. I couldn't help myself. One might say:
"6 male leads in a row, nobody bats an eye. 3 female leads in a row and everybody loses their minds"emoji

And that reminds me of:

I do agree that video games have always had stereotypical characters in
them. It’s a discussion I often have with friends and family. As well as a
subject I frequently run into on social media. One of the stereotypes people
seem to be shooting at right now are the white male protagonists. When
you walk around a game store and you take a look at all the various boxes
on the shelf, you will see a reoccurringtheme of them.

The door for more diverse protagonists (and NPCs) has been opened a very
long time ago. It’s now up to the designers whether they want to explore
them. I find more diverse characters shouldn’t be forced. Like having a dark
skinned main character for the sake of having a dark skinned main character. The race and gender
should fit the game like a glove and designers must have the freedom to choose whatever
protagonist they want
.

I totally agree on her point. And if they kept protesting, maybe it's time for alien and animal protagonists to rise. (Ratchet, Ty, and Kay, I summon you)

I think the whole thing is ridiculous. Remind me to never read the YouTube comment section again. emoji

Oh, I took the liberty of browsing my Star Wars games for one where the lead is female. Guess how many I have? One. Jedi Starfighter. (Obviously I'm not counting the three where you can pick between male and female).

If there's one thing they shouldn't complain about having no females, it's the Clone Wars. Unless, of course, they make a female clone trooper, but that would be weird emoji

Yeah, exactly. You simply can't have female Clone Troopers. That's impossible! What's not impossible is a female Rebel or a female Jedi. There are lots! So if the internet could just take a deep breath, that'd be great.

That's why I stay away from social media: no twitter or facebook–everyone seems to desire complaining about something in some way, no matter how ridiculous. In the words of Ratchet and Clank: "Up next, the comments section. How you can add meaning to your life by anonymously attacking someone you've never met!"
