Probably not. Lombaxes are heroic creatures that probably care deeply for other helpless aliens. They don't seem to have the pride vibrato in their blood.
And I guess that trait descended to Ratchet, after some time, though. The Smuggler's parrot also called Lombaxes as heroes.
