Greetings my dear lombaxes!
Even though the community is getting more and more active on our forums, we still need to update our site and to inform you with these news posts. You might have noticed a few changes in the past few days, so I'll explain to you how those things actually work. We're are then going to show you a new trailer that came out a few weeks ago (yep, it is still new for us) and welcome a new member in our team!
But first things first, and let's show you some of our new cool functionnalities!
RG Gaming : a New Community Fuction for RG
Because we are in an online era, some folks on Ratchet Galaxy love to share some real love through various games that may not be related to Ratchet & Clank. The fact that R&C : All 4 One is going to be an online cooperative game will surely boost this fashion. From this observation, Vince, our administrator, decided to implement a brand new system that is now known as RG Gaming.
Dude, what is it?
RG Gaming is a simple and very effective tool that can offer you various functionnalities regarding gaming and community. You will now be able to do these things from a few mouse clicks :
> Find other Ratchet Galaxy members who possess the sames online games as you do in a growing registry
> Show which games you possess yourself on PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 or PC
> Plan online events and multiplayer games
How does it actually work?
The maintenance and activy of this system only depends on the community. That means that you'll first have to indicate which games you have in order to have events. Little by little, the list of members that uses this functionnality will grow, and only then the research function will take its importance. You will then be able to find more and more people who own the same games as you do!
The other important side of this system is the possibility to organize and plan online events. Thanks to a chatroom included on every game page, you will be able to discuss and organize those online events in details.
Notifications will then appear for members who have been registered on an event, and if you have activated chat notifications, the system will automatically check those chatrooms and alert you for every post.
As time goes by, the game register will grow, thanks to the most popular demands from you guys (and girls) - send us PMs! - and as new multiplayer games come out. You certainly have noticed that a link to the RG Gaming page is included on the community box, right below the banner.

Improvements on the Site
Just as if the RG Gaming system wasn't big enough, we've also been working on several other improvements which are listed below.
An upgraded interface
You might already have noticed this one since you connected on the site last friday, because the menu boxes have been slightly modified. Every link is not underlined anymore and now has a new mouse-over effet with a nice shadowed frame.
But, most of the improvements took place in the "My Profile" box : for instance, you can now see 4 different icons leading to your PM Discussions, RG Now!, your account options and to a simple disconnection. There are also 4 different links above them, and that are pretty much self explanatory.
But what is this RG Now! function? Well, it's a simple notification system which will alert you every time you change or refresh the actual page you are browsing on the site. Every notification that you previously received via PM will be available directly from this system.
Also, the number of new notifications and new messages will be available on the RG Now! and Inbox icons.
In clear, it's a simpler interface, and much more efficient of course :^^:
Find the last sent forum messages
Some of our most active members have been asking us this new functionnality which consists in listing the 5 last messages that were sent on the forums. You now may simply click on the arrows in the "My Profile" menu box or go on your profile page, to find them. These are visible by any member who visits your profile page.
Are you playing on XboxLive and/or on Steam? Show it!
Who said that the site was only made for PlayStation fanboys? Because you now can indicate your XboxLive and Steam ID on your profile page! :ok:
A new explosive trailer for All 4 One!
Discover a new video-series dedicated to the weapons of the upcoming Ratchet & Clank with this brand new trailer. You will be able to witness what happens when some of the new toys are in the hands of our 4 favorite characters in their new adventure!

Insomniac @ Comic-Con
During this year's Comic-Con, Insomniac was there again to show Ratchet & Clank : All 4 One and Resistance 3. Here are some snapshots of the event, including some colourfull PlayStation 3 controllers, but also some brand new figures (and plushies) with the Ratchet & Clank : All 4 One character designs!

Great to see the English part of RG is getting updated with new features and updates here. I would have made a update about A4O at Comic-Con and the latest trailer for the latest Ratchet game but unfortunately my summer job has been exhausting me, which leads me with little spare time for myself right now.

And the new updates here are sweet too! I also never noticed the DreadZone skin for this site before, but it looks awesome and Im using it now XD excellent stuff! I will be on a lot more once I am back home in NZ.
