Thread: Played or Skipped Quest 4 Booty?

Deleted user

Did any of you guys and ladies tried or skipped playing Quest for Booty?

I pretty much skipped this game and went on to play A Crack in Time instead, but I did had a few reason of why I didn't play Quest For Booty.

1. Bad Wired/Wireless Connection - Since I live in North America, I have to get a copy of Quest for Booty through the PlayStation Network. The problem is that my wireless internet connection is bad, which means the connection on my PS3 doesn't log me online. So, I don't even bother with the PSN and the game at this point.

2. Too much Pirate Theme in the Game - I think the pirate vibe is great and pirates are cool in general, but I thought this game had too much of it to be honest. I know that the game is a continuation to Tools of Destruction and it is a pretty short game (which is fine and all), but I became not interested in the pirate theme things pretty easily in this Ratchet and Clank game.

3. Not Missing Out too Much in Q4B - I spoiled myself through watching online walkthroughs of this game and from what I saw, I thought there wasn't a lot of things that was completely important in this Ratchet game. The only thing that felt important was the last cutscene where Clank was located in (even if we get a recap of the events of TOD and Q4B in ACIT).

I pretty much played the whole thing not caring if it's short or not it's still ratchet and clank and I love the games emoji

Heh well Im a big Ratchet and Clank fan so I'll be getting it when I can, luckily in NZ we have the disc version… but I'll never get it for $30 though! (I've been trying to get it cheaper online but people keep outbidding me XD)

And Ace has yet another cameo in this so I suppose that's another reason for me to get it (lol) but yeah I've pretty much seen all the cutscenes though but I dont mind it, as long as I get it for $10 or a little more, definitely not $30 NZ emoji

I got the disc version as it's available in UK, Europe and the general East. For some reason they didn't produce a disc in American continents emoji
but I did think it was a waste of a Blu-ray disc, it's so short and has so little to it that a disc is un-necessary.

The only reason why a disc wasn't made for Americans and Canadians is because many people wanted to purchase it through the PSN rather than getting it on a disc. Perhaps it was the smart way to not a waste a disc for a game that has approximately 3 hours of gameplay, but for those with bad wireless connection on their PS3… are probably the ones that are going to have issues purchasing the game through the PSN.

Really? I think IG might as well bring Ace back in the next Ratchet and Clank game since we're seeing a lot of Ace cameos in the Future titles. emoji

Yeah true that, the US has more online compared with the rest of the world too, even here in NZ not that many are online, even if it's free emoji (It's because almost all internet in NZ has download limits… like mine)

Hehe and yes, Ace has a lot of cameos in the future series… hmm… emoji

If only Skidd McMarx could at least had a cameo in the Future games. emoji

I don't think he had any in the Future series.

i played it. i only played it coz i like r and c and to see if ratchet found clank but he didnt. i thought he would of found him coz on the box on a crack in time i thought they were back together because they were both there and on quest for booty it was only ratchet and talwyn.

I played it. I thought that the gameplay was very good. The story wasn't that great, and the weapons could have been better, but the game in general was pretty fun.

I clocked the whole game in like 4 hours or so, with the disc version, NZ yea!

I played it. In Europe there is a disc version, so for me there is no reason not too. Quest for Booty is a very cool game (I think). Short, but worth it's time.

And remember, the game was probably only made to keep us bussy while waiting on A Crack in Time emoji

Played it! I will never skip a Ratchet & Clank game!

I only got it cause I bought a PS3 slim, If you buy one you know that it doesn't come with games and my parents didn't had money for a 30$ game so I got Q4B cause:
1st: The game was right behind the PS3
2nd: It was the game that cost less.

I wasn't planning on getting neither ToD or QfB (I was looking forward to ACiT) because before I bought a PS3 my friend had one with QfB and ToD. He autorized me to create a new save file just for me and I got 100%
in both games so that's why I don't really "own" ToD, but I got all skill points and gold bolts. Sorry for lying in my gamming statsemoji

Played. Loved, and Replayed emoji

As I do with all R&Cs emoji
