Thread: Awesome music

My favourite OSTs:
Ratchet & Clank - one of the most unique soundtracks made by Bergeaud. Mainly because he hasn't develop his style yet. It's like the basic of what he've done later.
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters - Theoritically, it's not very different from other Bergeauds OSTs, but it's got that Deadlocked touch, that simply makes it the best one.
Secret Agent Clank - during his last year of composing for R&C, Bergeaud made music unlike any he have done before. The 'Bondish' score of SAC was half of it.
Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty - The second one, was a "Pirates of Carraibean" style score he made for QfB. In the earlier games he made some catchy music, but never was so near the movie score style.
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time - Unlike Boris Salchow, who took the music emotion and epicness (sorry, nostalgic Bergeaud's fans) to the next level. Instead of making a dozen of diffrent tracks, he concentrated mostly on main, memorable themes. Thought he still made a lot of in-level tracks (Axiom City).
Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One - Michael Bross' style in A4O is great balance beetwen a serious Salchow's score and catchy Bergeaud's tunes. Thought he's a bit nearer Salchow's vibe…

The soundtracks that I certainly don't like are Deadlocked and Full Frontal Assault. DL was dull, boring and repetetive, while FFA is a mediocre effort to resemble Bergeaud's style.

The music in Gladiator was epic in my opinion, but at the time the game felt wierd for me and most other fans of the franchise too,but i'd say Gladiator had the 2nd/3rd best soundtrack in the series.

my favorite is Catacrom IV - Valley of Hero. This song is cool emojiemojiemoji

In my opinion, the soundtracks in Deadlocked are the best in the serie with Ratchet and Clank 1, Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank.

The soundtracks in PS3 games are good but not as much as PS2 and PSP games.

Perhaps , i also love the soundtracks R&C's series in PS2 but those in the Future's Serie are for me , really great sometimes such as in A Crack In Time or else in Into The Nexus. When you will play to Into the Nexus , you'll see that Nexus has a lot of soundtracks really magics.
The Compositor , Michaël Bross , effected a good job for this game that completed the Future's Trilogie emoji

True. I more liked
the soundtracks in All 4 One, Full Frontal Assault and Into The Nexus
than those in the Future Trilogy because they look like to David Bergeaud's style.

Um… first two games in the Future trilogy were composed by David Bergeaud, how could someone else resemble him more emoji As for Bross' soundracks, I really like A4O and ItN - as you said, they resemble Bergeaud's music very much, but are also very cinematic. FFA though was trying to be too much Bergeaudish - and pure Bergeaudish music should be made only by Bergeaud, Bross should concentrate on his own style of A4O and ItN.

Yeah I forgot the first two games in the Future Trilogy were composed by Bergeaud. emoji But in those ones his style changed very much and I was a bit disappointed.

It was still Bregeaud's style in ToD, but yeah, QFB was different - and it was a masterpiece emoji
