Thread: Trophies?

I find it kind of funny that this conversation (about ToD) came up about the same time I started playing ToD again (well about half a day later to be exact)

Anyway your too lazy to swap discs, you want the box to show off and you don't want to give up 15 Gigs of space… well it looks like you're never going to get that ever so slightly faster launch into the game… if it makes you feel any better, loading probably takes (very slightly) longer in games installed onto your hard drive.

It does? I always thought discs took longer to load because, well, they're discs.

I need a new hard drive though, I'll try and get one for Christmas.
Really hope it doesn't get as bad as my PS2 Memory Cards.

Oh hold on, I'm thinking of PS Vita.

Yea discs are discs and they need to spin, and they spin slower than hard drives, because hard drives are HARCORE! But the Vita just straight up uses flash memory for stuff and the Vita game cards load games faster than games on the memory card… I feel dumb now emoji

Wow I started replaying ToD again two days ago; a friend of mine did also. This is a weird coincidence.

Hey Darkstar, have you tried deleting some install data for some old games you might not play anymore? Sometimes install data can take up a ton of space. Even after deleting as much of that as I could though I've got less than half a gig's space left on my own PS3…

How do you guys fill up your PS3s so much? Mine has like 70 or so gigs free. By the end of the PS3s time it will probably have about 10 gigs to spare.

I've got a lot of games on my PS3's hard drive, and they can get pretty hefty in size. I've deleted a FEW of them that I know I probably won't play again for a while (I could always redownload them again provided I have the space) but I can't bring myself to do that with a lot of them. Also, like I mentioned, install data can add up and claim a LOT of space.

I've got a ton of games I haven't played yet on my PS3. It's hard to choose some games I don't want to play anymore (besides, downloading takes a heck of a long time).

It would be nice but It's not going to happen :P
