Thread: The Star Wars Thread

Sounds good! Hope I can watch it tomorrow. emoji

I'm glad Rebels continues btw. Part of me was affraid they'd stoo because they wanted it to end with Rogue One. Glad they didn't! (I may like Rebels even more than I do the movies, gheh)

Well in two weeks, they will finally grant one of my greatest wishes: Old Obi-Wan vs Maul!

Once more, epic! You know what would be cool? If they remixed 'Duel of the Fates' for battle music!emoji

Well, they have Kevin Kiner–the perfect composer for the job!

I have barely seen/heard any of his work besides Star Wars (well, and Stargate SG-1 heck yeah) But he's done a fantastic job on Rebels so far. If it's not gonna be Duel of the Fates, it will be something (almost) equally awesome ^^

That was one seriously wicked episode! I especially loved the end, chills. "You're all Rebels, aren't you?"

Well, this week's episode may be a bit of a filler. But hey, it has wedge in it, so…yay!

Speaking of, where's Kanan been this whole time?

Kanan? I was just glad to see Zeb again. I love Zeb. emoji

Dave Filoni recently was talking about how he might make Captain Rex be the old bearded man from Return of the Jedi. The man's name was "Gramps," which, ironically is what Kanan calls Rex in Star Wars Rebels!

Oh and, this was a thing...

Bam, canon.

Oh and, this was a thing...

Other than the Ewoks and the moon planet, that didn't look like anything close to Star Wars.

"You don't have to worry about another Jedi genocide if you fight for the Ewoks instead"

I just went to a Thrift Store (like a US Goodwill or Salvation Army) and I found… Star Wars: Clone Wars on DVD. As in the 2D animated series! I've heard mixed opinions. So it could be kinda cool or laughably bad at this point.

And I also found a novel by Carrie Fisher. So obviously I took that too ^^

It's not as good as the 3d animated series–it basically has few dialogue, and too much action, and it never EVER stops (it also has bad pacing) ! Although I have to admit…

…this scene was pretty cool!

Speaking of the 3D Clone Wars, it was supposed to come off of Netflix on March 7th, but fan-petitions and love for the franchise renewed it's contract! It is here to stay on Netflix! emoji

Oh good. I saw the entire internet went ballistic over The Clone Wars. Petitions and everything.

I only have Volume 2 now and I saw it's 60 minutes long, so that's… alright.

Is that hand drawn? O.O
If so I think it might be worth a watch just for the action scenes.
