Thread: Best Trilogies in Films and Games

In your opinion, what do you consider to be the best trilogy or trilogies in Movies and Video Games?

Here is my favourites so far, even if the list isn't that big.

In Video Games:

- Ratchet and Clank (PS2 trilogy)
- the Jak and Daxter trilogy
- God of War (even if the 3rd game kind of disappointed me a bit)
- Super Mario Bros. (for the NES)
- Sly Cooper trilogy
- Mortal Kombat trilogy


In Movies:

To be honest, there hasn't been any trilogy films that amazed me at all, except for the Toy Story films. Ever since I watched the third film recently, I find Toy Story to be the only trilogy in films that I like.

here's my list of what I think is the best

In Video Games:
Ratchet and Clank (PS2 and PS3)
Spyro the Dragon (PS1)
Sly Cooper (PS2)
Crash Bandicoot (PS1)

In Movies:
Alien Trilogy

sorry about the short list on the movie section couldn't think of anything else ^^; I'll add more if I remember any more for movies

Back to the Future is great, especially the first film, but it wasn't a trilogy that I didn't grew up on when I was young. Plus I only remember seeing the first and third one of Back to the Future. I don't remember watching the second film at all.

Except I only seen the first film and that's it.

I have a few trilogies in video games and movies.

Video Games:

Ratchet and Clank(PS2 trilogy)
Jak and Daxter trilogy
Sly Cooper Trilogy
Super Mario Bros.(most DS and Wii games)
Pokemon trilogy

Movies:

Toy Story(I have yet to see #3)
Shrek(still have to see #4)
Spy Kids
