Oh, I see.

Wow, looking at the first trailer ItN seemed like a much different game than what we got…

EDIT: And maybe Vendra would've been better off as a lombax…

The hard question is - better or worse?

I'll point out the differences I can find, you can judge for yourself:

- I'm not sure about this one since it's a Youtube video, but the game seems to be running at a higher framerate.

- Throughout the trailer Ratchet can be seen wearing the Nebulox Armour, The Volcanox Armour, a red version of FFA's Hero and Legend armour.

- At one point Ratchet tries to get to his ship to escape the Thugs, but fails when a the Thugs' ship rams the Nebulox.

- The maintenance bots Vendra uses to attack Ratchet are floating around and not on the Grav Ramps.

- Ratchet being thrown out into space after Neftin's attack was in-game and not a cutscene. Maybe Cronk and Zephyr wouldn't die, or at least not in the same way they do in the game.

- Ratchet doesn't use his O2 mask in the space segments, although he's always seen with either the Legend or Volcanox armour in these sections, armours that cover up his face.

- Vendra's hair seemed fluffier.

- Vendra never says "My brother's going to find me and he's going to hurt all of you" in the final game.

- Ratchet and Clank leaving the room where Vendra's imprisoned was originally a cutscene.

- The flashlight was a cone and had no antenna.

- The lights in the armour the Thugs wore was yellow, not blue.

- The Nightmare box's shots were similar to a shotgun, unlike in the final game where they're very tiny and weak.

- The colours were darker than most recent R&C games. They were closer to ToD and QfB's colours.

- The Omniblaster's sound effect was the iconic "pew pew".

- I'm not sure about this one since it's a Youtube video, but the game seems to be running at a higher framerate.

It also seemed to render a better picture… But it could've been just a pre-render.

That's the colours I mentioned later on.

Is anyone else here getting a Wii U with Smash Brothers?

I already have my little brother's, but I'll probably need one of my own once Smash comes out emoji

Good! Maybe we can play together one time. I really miss the Brawl severs, the old itch is coming back.

All these Brawl games go around me…

I just looked up in archives of Wikipedia to find something that I've once seen… Someone took his time to write the plot summary of ItN back in July 2013… Only it doesn't have anything to do with the final game:

Game begins with Ratchet and Clank escorting Villians Neftin and Vendra Prog to the Vartax Detention Center, but the plan goes awry when an outbreak occurs. The twins flee. The duo find themselves during the Outbreak of the Jail Cells. After surviving, they find their ship, Aphelion, has lost its Power Encabualtor and its power is down. Clank spots a portal, which he believes could be the way out. They use it, only to find a dead end, leading them to the scariest and dark part of space. Fearing the atmosphere, the duo utilizes a Temporal Sprocket to head to a nearest planet. They land on Yerek, and venture in to find a way out. In Yerek, there is an energy ball causing destruction on Urobis and Kyoldan. A Fallen Commander, Captain Eugene hands Ratchet and Clank and Macroperal Geo Matrix Vessel (or MGMV) capable of transportation. Eugene agrees that if they repair the planets, He agrees to find a way out.

Meanwhile Artyemis Zogg is creating a army of fictional Dipibids. The duo repair the planets only to find a intergalactic event, The Vivanox Encounter, which is capable of destroying the universe. Artemis zogg makes his appearance proclaiming he wants the duo dead. Zogg believes if the duo werent existing, they would be chaos. The duo fight Zogg in a lenghty boss battle (final). after beating him they use the MGMV to go back home only to find, playful Dipibids have accompanied them.

Super Smash Bros. on N64 was one of my very first games. I remember playing it witm my older cousin. I used to sit on the floor and had a soar neck after looking up at his small TV screen. emoji

Half of it sounds like mockingly made-up, but notice the summary mentions an event capable of destryoing the universe (the Vivanox Encounter). If I remember correctly, such event was mentioned (the name not, though) at some point after ItN was actually confirmed. We didn't know a lot about the story back then.

That was back when TJ's editor hadn't told him there already was a Shadow Sector in Solana.
